International Council for University Wisdom, LLC (“ICUW”, “the Council”) runs icuw.org. This page explains what the site collects and why.
What we collect
When you subscribe to Wisdom … Forgotten, we keep your email address and the date you subscribed. When you visit, our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser and the pages requested) for security and performance.
The site runs no advertising or analytics trackers today. If that changes, this page will say so first.
When you write to us
When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, institution if you give one, and your message, and keep them only to reply and to follow up on your request.
Cookies
The site sets only the cookies it needs to work, such as those for signed-in administrators and, when the shop opens, your cart.
How we use it
We use your email address to send the weekly issue and occasional Council announcements, such as when enrollment for a program opens. We do not sell or rent personal data.
Who processes it
Our hosting and email delivery providers store and send this information on our behalf, under their own data protection terms.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe at any time from the link in each email. To see, correct or delete what we hold about you, write to info@icuw.org or reply to any issue, and we will act within 30 days.
Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
